In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Fremont; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. It is closed on Monday. Fremont is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fremont follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Nice place tug in a small strip mall. Friendly and helpful staff. Great selections of Taiwanese and Chinese food. They speak mandarin and Cantonese. Also have good Chinese deserts and drinks. Nice deco and very welcoming.

I’ve been here before for an event and my friend recommended me to come back here again. She happens to know the owner of the restaurant and I’m excited to try their food. Part of the interior is nice though since there’s a sofa, chairs, and other items packed in that area. Everything else is very typical in terms of dining area. I was given menus to start order but to actually order, you’ll have to scan with QR and place order of items. From scrolling through some items, they don’t really have descriptions like the Railroad Porkchop Bento though they do displays photos of them. I picked it since it’s a popular dish as well as the boba milk tea. I’m not that hungry, which is why I didn’t order after the foods I mentioned. I really like the milk tea though. The milk tasted fresh even though that they have a β€œFresh Milk” option which is slightly a surcharge. I also like how small these boba pearls are especially when they go through a thicker straw. I think they do this to prevent larger pearls from stopping too much liquid from going through. About the Railroad Porkchop Bento, I don’t really dislike it. The issue is that the boiled egg was too tough and the tofu is just alright.

The place is very cute (adorable decor!) and the servers are all very nice, but I was really disappointed by the stinky tofu and the pork chop noodle soup. The stinky tofu was not very flavorful and the pork chop was quite dry. My friend also got lurou fan which she said was okay. The popcorn chicken was not bad but nothing to write home about. This might be a cute place to grab PMT and hang out but I wouldn't come here to eat again.

Tried Milk & Honey Cafe food for the first time and WOW! We were looking for a good Taiwanese food after traveling back from Taiwan and this place surpassed all expectations! Beef noodle soup - to die for - so flavorful and the meat was so tender! Chicken steak was one of the best ones we’ve ever had & the cucumber salad was so refreshing! Will be back!

I went out to lunch with my friend on Sunday. The restaurant itself has a very unusual vibe, very welcoming, it feels like you are a part of a huge family. The food was delicious, they had vegan options - please confirm it with your server- and served quite large portions. We even got a dessert at the end. They have treats available for purchase and I saw many people coming in for their Boba. They offer lunch specials and the best thing is that they don't close for lunch, so you don't have to worry about finishing your meal fast if you stop by for a late lunch. Free parking lot around the restaurant. The restroom was clean and well maintained. Will be back :)
